
The Teller County Sheriff's Department has released its weekly incident report for the period of February 1 through February 5, 2025. These reports aim to keep the community informed about recent law enforcement activities and public safety matters.
Key Incidents:
February 1, 2025:
An individual was arrested for criminal impersonation, driving under the influence (DUI), and weaving.
Another individual was taken into custody for menacing, assault, reckless endangerment, criminal mischief, and harassment.
A summons was issued for operating an uninsured vehicle, driving under restraint, and failure to register within 60 days of purchase.
A person was arrested for driving under the influence (DUI), weaving, and impeding normal traffic flow.
February 2, 2025:
A DUI arrest was made for driving under the influence and DUI.
February 3, 2025:
Authorities apprehended a suspect for driving under the influence, driving under revocation, open container, weaving, improper stopping, and other traffic violations.
A warrant arrest was made for vehicular eluding, contributing to the delinquency of a minor, DUI, reckless driving, and speeding more than 40 over the limit.
Another individual was arrested for failure to appear on a previous charge of driving under restraint.
A person was taken into custody for menacing.
February 4, 2025:
A suspect was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear related to violation of a protection order, speeding, and expired plates.
Another arrest was made for vehicular assault, menacing, reckless endangerment, vehicular eluding, and assault on a police officer.
February 5, 2025:
A warrant arrest occurred for failure to comply with original charges of falsely reporting ID and trespassing.
A separate individual was arrested for harassment.
